Spatially this congregation hall houses gathering spaces that can be used for worship or other community activities. Besides its operation as a church hall (worship space) the main spaces within the congregation hall are multipurpose and can be used to fulfil social duties within the community, hold workshops, art programs and house exhibitions and act as a space where temporary stores can be accommodated.
The building has three main parts. In the west wing the glass part of the building opens completely in order to create a sort of terrace which directly leads into the exhibition/multipurpose area creating a convivial space, this is also where both workshop rooms and WC’s are located.

The Central corridor under the skylight acts as an informal, lounge/ rest space and on the occasion when local schools come to visit the church it acts as a space to house children and the activities they will undertake. The east wing houses the hall where the altar is located, kitchen, reception/office, and meeting room.

The model is made out of MDF boards and acrylic. We used wire mesh aluminium to mimic the Voronoi pattern of the archways. And placed the stained glass design under the acrylic to highlight this part of the model.
